John Paul DeJoria is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist best known for co-founding John Paul Mitchell Systems and The Patrón Spirits Company. Rising from homelessness, DeJoria exemplified the American Dream by turning a $700 loan into the world’s largest privately held hair care brand and co-founding Patrón, the leading ultra-premium tequila. He later sold Patrón and continued to launch other ventures, such as ROKiT, while also dedicating himself to philanthropy through JP’s Peace, Love & Happiness Foundation.
