Man Is Still Here

For more than 3.8 billion years, life has evolved on Earth in astonishing ways. Scientists estimate that 99% to 99.9% of all species that have ever existed are now extinct. The millions of plants, animals, and microorganisms alive today represent only a tiny fraction of the life that has called our planet home.

Earth has also endured five great mass extinctions, where 75% to 96% of all living species disappeared in relatively short periods of geological time. Asteroids, volcanic activity, climate shifts, and changing environments reshaped life again and again.
Yet through all of this…
Man is still here.
That is both a miracle and a responsibility.

Today, we possess greater knowledge, technology, and communication than any civilization before us. But we also face challenges of our own making—pollution, environmental destruction, war, division, and a growing lack of compassion.

History teaches us that no species is guaranteed a future. Our future depends not only on intelligence, but on wisdom. At The Foundation for World Harmony, we believe the best path forward is The Kindness Revolution, built upon Three Commitments to Kindness:
Be kind to yourself. A healthy mind, body, and spirit create a better life.
Be kind to all others. The Golden Rule has united humanity across cultures and generations.
Be kind to Mother Earth. Protect our air, water, land, oceans, and all living things for future generations.

If humanity is to avoid becoming another chapter in Earth’s long history of extinction, we must replace hatred with compassion, greed with generosity, and destruction with stewardship.
Kindness is not weakness.
Kindness is survival.
