A Car vs. a Humanoid

That may soon become one of the biggest decisions people make.
For more than a century, owning a car represented freedom, independence, and status. But today owning a car is fast becoming a thing of the past and owning a humanoid will cost less.

Imagine this:
Within minutes, an autonomous vehicle arrives at your door, takes you exactly where you want to go, and drops you off safely, efficiently, and economically—without parking hassles, maintenance, insurance headaches, or wasted time sitting behind the wheel. Time in the ride will be efficient.

Now imagine being accompanied by your own personal humanoid assistant.
Your humanoid will be your organizer, assistant, translator, tutor, health monitor, chef, companion, protector, advisor, and helper in everyday life. It will remind you of appointments, help manage your health, assist with decisions, and support you emotionally and intellectually. It won’t complain or make mistakes.

Humanoid robots can perform most jobs humans do today—working in dangerous environments, assisting emergency services, supporting medical teams, cooking, exploring space, helping the elderly, and performing tasks requiring precision, endurance, or constant availability. They can do backflips with full twists. They will be our police force and military.

Surgeon humanoids will operate with extraordinary precision, perfection. Humanoid astronauts will travel farther into space than humans and will withstand extreme environments. Imagine elderly people living independently far longer with daily support and companionship.

Some humanoids will become so integrated into daily life that people will wonder how they ever lived without them like you do with your cell phone today. And as technology advances, questions once considered science fiction may become real: Could your memories, voice, stories, preferences, or life experiences someday be transferred into humanoids? Could a future system help your great great great-grandchildren know you long after your physical self is gone in a humanoid likeness of you?

This is no longer fantasy. The future is approaching faster than most people realize. So enjoy today—because tomorrow is arriving sooner than we think.
