Host a Kindness Class

Children Are Our Future, and Kindness Is the Path

The Foundation for World Harmony invites teachers, students, retirees, Ambassadors of Kindness, volunteers, and anyone who wants to make a positive difference to Host a Kindness Class.

This is one interactive class, not a 10-week course.

The class is built around our Three Commitments to Kindness:

1. Be Kind to Yourself

Learn to love, trust, respect, and take care of yourself.

Just like the instructions on an airplane tell you to put your own oxygen mask on before helping someone else, you must take care of yourself before you can effectively help others.

Putting yourself first isn’t selfish. It’s smart.

2. Be Kind to All Others and Creatures

Practice compassion, respect, honesty, sharing, inclusion, and kindness toward the people and creatures with whom we share our world.

3. Be Kind to Our Mother Earth

Respect and protect the planet that gives us our air, water, food, and home.

An Interactive Class

This isn’t a lecture.

Students participate, answer questions, share ideas, discuss real examples of kindness, and discover ways they can put the Three Commitments into action every day.

At the conclusion of the class, students who agree to follow the Three Commitments become Ambassadors of Kindness.

We don’t need their money.
We don’t need their WhatsApp.
We don’t need their email.
We need their commitment to kindness.

For students, only their first name, city, and country are submitted to the World Kindness List. Student last names are not published.

The Kindness Pledge

The class concludes with students reciting the Kindness Pledge together in unison.

The pledge helps build self-confidence, camaraderie, positive energy, and a shared commitment to kindness.

Teachers and parents participating in the Kindness Revolution have reported encouraging changes, including children sharing more, treating one another more kindly, and reductions in fighting and bullying.

Words manifest action.

Pledge videos from participating schools may be shared on the World Kindness List pledge page, showing the world that children, teachers, schools, and communities around the globe are joining the Global Kindness Revolution.

A $10 Thank You for Hosting a Class

Many people teach Kindness Classes simply because they want to help children and make the world a kinder place.

For eligible verified classes, we offer the person conducting the class $10 as a thank-you and to help offset expenses.

It’s never about the money. It’s about spreading kindness and helping children.

The complete Teacher Manual explains the simple verification process.
