About the Founder of The Foundation for World Harmony
L. Monte Cook III, known worldwide as Dr. Fantastic, is a visionary thought leader, global speaker, and founder of The Foundation for World Harmony, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building a more compassionate, sustainable, and harmonious world.
With more than seven decades of life experience, Monte has lived an extraordinary journey—working in over 100 professions (including writer, producer, TV and radio host, philosopher, and artist, to name a few) and traveling through more than 35 countries. His diverse path ultimately led him to dedicate his life to igniting a Kindness Revolution, now active in 147 countries with over 13,000 Ambassadors of Kindness worldwide.
Monte is the creator of the Three Commitments to Kindness, the Global Kindness Pledge, and the Be Fantastic Philosophy. These initiatives inspire individuals, organizations, schools, and governments to embrace kindness as the most powerful tool for personal growth, social harmony, and environmental transformation.
Through his global speaking engagements, more than 2,400 videos, and international workshops, Monte empowers people to live with purpose, resilience, and joy. His message has touched leaders, educators, and communities worldwide.
He has also established NGOs in Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, and Zambia, and formed MOUs with organizations in several of the other 54 African countries where the Kindness Revolution is active.
